The original volume is 384 pages, softcover from AMG, however this is a digital resource for theWord Bible Software.

Publisher’s Description

The purpose of A Hebrew Word for the Day is to share the richness of the Hebrew language words used in the Old Testament and help make them practical in the reader’s Christian living. Simply because words matter, the words of the Bible matter most. And in a day when words don’t seem to mean much, the need for precision in Christian doctrine and practice has never been more critical.

For each day of the year, Watson presents a brief word study and then offers an application to make that particular Hebrew word become real for practical living. To aid reinforcement, each day’s devotion ends with Scriptures for study to apply the truth learned that day.

Doc Watson fulfills his desire of many years to provide daily devotions that not only contain deep spiritual truth, but also are easy to read and understand. In our day of Relativism, the absolutes of God’s Word (and words) are desperately needed. These brief devotionals will enrich the mind, stir the soul, and empower the life of God’s people.

Daily Open Windows  (Open Windows)
0.4 MB 06-Jun-2014
Author(s): Austin-Sparks, T.
Module version: 1.0
Description:

Open Windows is a daily devotional of excerpts from the writings of T. Austin-Sparks.

This devotional contains short daily portions from a selection of Austin Sparks' messages. In his own words, “Perhaps this is just like a window opened into heaven. If you get the right window you can see quite a lot. You can see great things and you can see far things. But the best that I can hope is that this has just opened a window, and that as you look through it you are seeing one thing - how superior is Jesus Christ to all else, and how superior is the dispensation into which we have come, and how superior are all the resources at our disposal to all that ever was before!”

Module version: 1.4
Description: This is just a template file that will help you to start building your own personal devotional. This module does not contain any actual devotional data, but it has entries for each day of the year with links made all around to help you get started.

How to setup your Devotional Template once it is downloaded.

You will need to:

1. Give it a unique id so that it is not confused with any other modules.

Once theWord has restarted locate the 'Devotional' in the Bookview. Right-Mouse-Click over the 'Devotional' icon, and select from the menu 'Module properties' In the 'System properties' section you will see 'Identifier' and currently it will have 'tpl-ME.dev' there. Click in that area so you can edit the identifier. Give it some random letters and numbers (no spaces), about 10 of them should be enough.

2. Personalise any of the other properties

Edit the other properties as you require, but leave the 'Editorial comments and version history:' so you will know what version of the template it was. Click OK, to save the information.

3. Change the filename so that there is no possibility of overwriting with another download of this file.

Open the 'Module properties' as above. In 'System properties' section, you will see the current filename and location. Click the button at the right that has the ... on it. This will open a window and that file will be highlighted ready for renaming, but not yet, you need to close the properties, and exit theWord.
