I am really impressed so far with what you have done with this. I have downloaded a couple others and have to use all of them to get what I need. I seem to be able so far to use this one to use all the others without having two or three programs running at the same time I am still learning and look forward to using your tutorials to see just where this takes me. Thanks and GOD Bless

I just started using TheWord and it would be wonderful if all modules and every popup could be completely offered in German. It´s much better than the programs I found round here. The older texts are very rare. Thanks a lot for publishing them. :-)

I've only just begun to use TheWord over the last couple of weeks and have transferred all my modules from E-Sword.
TheWord is an amazing Bible study program with so mch configurationto available to suit personal needs.
And I'm happy to see that Costas has engaged happily with the users to make the program even better.

I've been using this program for quite sometime, and I must say, I love it!! Compared to all the others out there, free or not free. Most of my friends who purchased Bible software agree the The Word offers more study resources than the basic Bible software libraires. Praise the Lord!! God bless you in your efforts to continue to develop The Word.

I just wanted to thank you for your faithful hard work and generosity and trusting the Lord would provide for you and compensate you (reward you). I just made a small donation, though I am out of work. I am just now developing a web site to help in the process of growing people to Christian maturity and your model of financing your work is interesting. Thank you! Michael

This is my first visit to this site, and I must say that I'm very impressed. I've been running Libronix system; I like it, but have been dismayed because I don't have the money to unlock any resources except the Bible. I'm disabled and my SSDI is my only income. I have no doubt that I will be making The Word my primary study tool. Thank you, God bless you, and praise God for you!
Oh yes, one question: I understand what you have said about the copyrights of these works, so I just would like to confirm that it's ok to put the software on a CD to distribute freely. I have no desire to sell it; it's just that I'd like to be able to give it to others.

Great work! I am migrating from other softwares. An interlinear function for the originals will be a very useful addition to this already great software.

I'm running the programme on Linux Mint via Wine and all is well - I think! Early to say. It looks very good and clean.
But how come there's no Apocrypha with the Douay Rheims bible?
Will bblx files work with The Word?

Wow, what a great program, I am a long time E-Sword user and promoter. For over 5 years I have been giving out E-Sword and teaching Pastors and others how to use E-Sword.
That is all changing, I am now working on learning how to use the Word. This software allows a person to dig deeper and hopefully understand the Word of God more completely.
I personally use Libronix for my personal studies and I have over 2600 resources in that program, there is no doubt I can do more with that program, but I have spent over 2,600 dollars on the program and the resources plus over 450 dollars learning how to use all of the features it has, but the Word allows a person to do an awesome amount of studies and at zero cost!!!
I must admit that I am now also using the Word in my studies, it contains some public domain modules that I can not afford to buy and put in the Libronix system, plus with the searching features the Word competes very well with the Libronix and I see no need to pay for those public domain books now.
Thanks so much for all your work on this program, my biggest need at this point is more info on how to use the system, there is a lot to learn before I will be able to do everything with the program that it will do, Please work on a detailed HOW TO manual!!! Once I can really use the Word, I will be giving free classes to pastors and others on how to use it. I will also be giving out free copies of the Word. I have already given free copies to 5 brothers that I had given E-Sword to, they are all excited about learning more about how to use it, and they already love how it has helped them in their studies.
Your bother in Christ,
