Re: Strong's Concordance is incomplete

Ok thanks for that Bible list. Looks like from one reply above the NET Bible may be the most comprehensive. Although they have good research notes, their translation is awful, and they take many liberties in amending the original Hebrew. NASB would be preferable but it may not be as complete. It wo...

Re: Strong's Concordance is incomplete

Interesting.

When I search for h518, I get the following results for Genesis:

KJV -- 8 occurrences

NASB2020 -- 57 occurrences

NET -- 67 occurrences

A few other translations also link to Strong's numbers, but this sampling is enough to make you go, "Hmm..."

Re: Lost Unlock codes

Thanks to you and Costas, I have all my modules back.

I'll still have to spend a few hours recovering my settings, but oh well.

Lost Unlock codes

I had to transfer my installation to a new computer. Unfortunately, I lost my list of unlock codes in the transition, and also no longer have access to my original email.

Is there any hope of regaining access to all my purchased modules?

Re: NET2.1 Strong's error

To clarify, 1 Corinthians 7:3 is actually a verse from the New Testament written in Greek, not Hebrew. The word for "marital responsibility" in this verse is the Greek word "ὀφειλή" (opheilē), which means obligation, debt, or duty. Yes, that's the problem. That's what it *should...

Re: Possible Strong's problem in 1 Cor. 9:5 of NET 2.1

I got an email reply from "Hampton," and it's not particularly useful. I'm attaching a copy of the image he sent in the email. Here is what he said about it: " I looked this up on in our online editor, and I’m not seeing the problem? Here is the strongs tagged greek, kjv and NET. &quo...

It appears you are right if you want to contact https://netbible.com/ and let them know. It is in their data.
If they say another reason please post it here that would be great.
Message sent.

Possible Strong's problem in 1 Cor. 9:5 of NET 2.1

1 Cor. 9:5 of NET 2.1 -- 1Cor 9:5 Do we not have the right to the company of a believing wife, like the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas?" Hovering over the words, it appears the Greek terms for "company" and "believing wife" are transposed. "Adelphe,&q...

Re: Trying to get in touch with Mickelson (Strong's dictiona

ISTM vaguely disconcerting that there is no obvious contact info at the PlowShare Mission Web site, and no update to their "Progress (News)" page since 2019. (OTOH, that "Progress" page only appears to be active every 2-4 years.)

Re: Trouble installing new version

I disabled both AV programs and nothing changed.

I fired up the refurb desktop and installed there with no difficulties at all. Not even any long pauses. And that system uses the same AV programs. Weird.

Which files do I need to manually transfer from the desktop to the laptop?

Re: Trouble installing new version

What is your operating system? What Anti-Virus do you run? Windows 7 64-bit. Microsoft Security Essentials + Threat Fire. This is so crazy! I will note that near the beginning of the installation, right after I give Windows 7 UAC permission to run the Setup program, a small box of text appears for ...

Re: Trouble installing new version

During the installation, the path that shows up in the little box is the correct path. The "Unblock" suggestion made no difference. The new shortcut created on my desktop points to the correct location, but it is still the old file. After the installation completes, there is only one versi...
