Set a secondary Bible
I was wondering if it would be possible to add a feature to set a secondary 'default' Bible. As far as I can tell, there can only be one default Bible. When I have the default Bible open in the Bible view and I want to hover over a verse link in a commentary, for instance, it will always display the...

Re: Khmer NT Bible Help?
Hey Nathan, You would use the VPL format. The specification for the Bible modules are found under the link "Bible Module file specification" in the link you posted in your previous post. If there are instances in which the verses to not match up to the KJV versification, you will have to c...

Re: Unicode Search Bug
Not really on my own (that is, not alone), but not with the Bible Society. As I understand it, the text I originally got was also given to the Bible Society, which they proofread and inserted zwsp's. This is the text on ebible.org that I wrote earlier. The relevant people at the Bible Society are no...

Re: Unicode Search Bug
Hello Again Nathan, Long time no chat. The KOV that I have has been proofread twice. We are working now to get the zwsp's placed correctly (in this link , for instance, there are some zwsp-ing issues) in order to output a concordance we are working on. Before we began the proofreading I removed all ...

Re: 1549 Matthew's Bible
I have personally looked for the text in a reliable format and cannot find it. I have tried to find all early English versions, but could only find some. Matthews is one that is missing.

Re: Is there a mod for "typing sermon notes"?
Hello,
You can not only take notes based on the chapters, verses, and books (a commentary), but you can also take notes under any subject you like by making a book module. You can find more information about this here. Hope that helps.

Re: Requests and Suggestion
Hello, I can safely say thank for Costas for your compliments. I know he appreciates it. I think you haven't found the Bible Search View. Hit F3. From here searches can be done in any language and for Strong's numbers. You search for Strong's numbers by simply inputing G#### and H#### for Greek and ...

Re: A question about translations
If you look at the individual module properties, you will see the source of the file. Some come from the Sword Project, some from Internet websites, etc. There are, however, a number of copyrighted modules that were obtained with much difficulty. The source of those is from the publishers themselves...

Re: Installing on flash drive; easy way?
Installing TW is easy. The installer is designed for such a case. But, for your questions: 1. "Compact" does not refer to the size of the install, but rather to the way TW is installed. First, make a "The Word" folder on your flash drive. Then run the installer, choosing the comp...

Re: Scrivener's Textus Receptus
The closest thing available is the Stephanus Textus Receptus with accents found at the website here . I think the text you are requesting is the text used by the Trinitarian Bible Society in their printed version. I have requested permission for this text, but they have not responded. In reality, th...

I don't think the final suggestion will fly either. Costas is very open both with new versions and betas. Besides, there are already benefits for those who donate.

Re: copyright info on Chafer's "Major Bible Themes"
There are several assumptions that have to be verified before you can know for sure: If you are sure they work under consideration is indeed the same exact book (not a revision), and If it was indeed originally copyrighted in 1926, and If the copyright was properly renewed in after 28 years, THEN th...
