cross highlighting?
Because of the need to have some paid modules unavailable in theWord, I have migrated in part to Logos and Accordance. I do miss some options in theWord, things that I suppose I can do with other software but do not know just how to do so yet. The ability to tag user modules is something that theWor...

Re: word lookup always uses Mickelsons
That is what is happening. So, are the word lookup dictionaries and the Strong # lookup connected? If I turn off the Strong # lookup I get no word lookups at all. I had assumed they were entirely different options.

word lookup always uses Mickelsons
Using Version 6, 1527. Mickelson's Strong's Dictionary always shows up when using word lookup dictionary, even when not selected. I had it set for each module to use separate dictionaries (with no options checkmarked in the "All modules" option), but Mickelsons always showed no matter what...

Re: High dpi monitors. Feedback needed
A little update on this: I copied TheWord files to an external hard drive (solid state) that I keep attached to my Surface Book II. Now the dpi compatibility settings do not revert. I have no idea why they revert on the thumb drive but not the external hard drive, but that is what I experienced. For...

Re: High dpi monitors. Feedback needed
For whatever reason now, that I have changed computers, the dpi compatibility setting (on the exe icon) keeps reverting back to normal every time I shut the program down and open it back up. I had that problem occasionally before, but now it is every single time. Is there a way to tweak the software...

Re: Bug or virus?
Thanks for the tip! I had not thought of data recovery. ShadowCopyView did not work for me (probably me not knowing how to use it-nothing shows up in the window when I execute it and the instructions are pretty scarce). I used other software to scan the thumb drive that had the back up and got some ...

Re: Bug or virus?
I should add that there were a couple of files in the books and bibles with weird names that would not even delete. Created dates were 1980 and 2028. But I reformatted the thumb drive (it is the original one from TheWord), which took care of the strange files, and am installing everything new.

Bug or virus?
So, I am switching computers, but have been using TheWord on a thumb drive so that I can have all my notes in one place when I use various machines. I upgraded to a dual monitor on a MS Surface Book 2 and had great delight to open about 6 book views on the monitors that would all sync when I clicked...

I never knew this "trick." Thanks for sharing it ... it works for me. I am using version 6.

Re: Ver. 5 on hard drive - ver. 6 on thumb drive
I have been doing that, although I hardly even use the hard drive version 5. But it functions properly, and version 6 on the thumb drive functions properly as well when run on the same machine.

Re: Adding Strongs numbers to LSJ
On Rubio's repository I found the LSJ+ with excellent formatting. Any possibility of adding Strong's numbering to it? I was manually formatting my LSJ when I looked up words, but the LSJ+ has been formatted very well. What a timesaver. Thanks to whoever did that formatting! https://raw.githubusercon...

archive.org has a borrowable copy. So I can access the data, but not like having it in theWord software, links and all. https://archive.org/details/greekenglis ... 5/mode/2up

Re: Greek-English Lexicon by Louw and Nida
United Bible Societies is the publisher. I don't know if Louw-Nida that is the same department as the UBS4 text or not. I sent an email to the only email address I could find online; hopefully it gets forwarded to the right person. I will let you know if they respond.

Re: Greek-English Lexicon by Louw and Nida
Does there happen to be an update on this? I see Logos has it for under $30 so maybe now a license could be obtained for less? I would buy a (theWord) version for $30, but I suppose one customer would not make it economically feasible.

Re: book modules in pdf?
I know it is complex to convert to rtf because I tried a few files. Acrobat does a mediocre job of it when there are images involved, even on files that have the text as a separate layer. Exporting as doc or docx and then to rtf isn't much better. Just a text file in pdf still isn't wrinkle-free. Bu...
