Hi All,
thanks for the valuable feedback. I think I am going to put out a new minor update so these dpi settings become the default behavior of theWord, as it seems that many users have this issue.

Re: Lag when selecting layouts
I dislike that too, I am with you.
Unfortunately it's not that simple. The delay is not due to disk/memory, has to do with the layout sub-system being used.
And it's hard to change.

Re: Question About Saving My Place In A General Book Module
I had a private discussion with Jon and he suggested to save the actual character index, instead of the scroll position. I think this is doable (need to find the character position of the first visible character and restore to this position later). I will add it in my list to implement! Thanks! Hope...

Re: Question About Saving My Place In A General Book Module
Hi Dave, When you save a layout, the current scroll position of each book view is also saved (not the actual content position). When you restore the layout, what is restored is the scroll position. Yet, if the actual size of the book view has changed (e.g. you resized your view or the main window), ...

Re: A hope that probably won't happen
Hi All, let me put a couple notes here: I have been very careful since the beginning of the creation of theWord to say that this is a 'Windows only software'. It has always been very tempting to say that it runs on Mac or/and Linux, but I never said that officially and I never said I would support t...

Re: Over 4 gb theword process
Hello Nikolay,
not sure where this is coming from.
Yet to be able to find anything i would need you to find the exact version that this problem started occuring. All intermediate betas are there to check, i know it will take time but its really needed to find why this happens,
Thanks

Re: Feature Request: Subtopic Level No. equals No. of Tab ch
If its feasible that during export, TheWord converts the Topic Tree's subtopic level number to the number of tabs character in the exported document. It might be helpful for modules with multi-level tree/subtopics. The reason is that I find it easier to arrange the topics using the topic tree than ...

Thank you for the feedback all, keep it coming.
I will see what I can do with Libre Office. This looks like a Libre problem but I will put some time to check if i can fix it somehow.
