Re: Open Hebrew Analytical Lexicon

Hi - First, I did some checking here. The word is from Job 18:17. If you look at verse 16 or 18, the dehi shows up in both. The WLC consistently uses vowel-dehi. The BHS mostly reversed throughout. But the question is how to address this. If the target is only the OHB, stay consistent with EW's. If ...

Re: Open Hebrew Analytical Lexicon

Note that there are coding differences in the Hebrew between the BHS based text (like Eliran Wong's) and the WLC based text (like HiSB). This word is listed as shown in "entries_Hebrew.csv" from EW's project. However, it appears incorrect in that the accent precedes the vowel.

Re: Getting text to display correctly in a dictionary module

I'm not sure if i am being responsive here, but saving the text as an .html file results in readable formatted text. The TooltipNT utility over at biblesupport.com will accept this as input for a dictionary module. The topics will have to be appropriately identified for the module, and there is the ...

Re: Hebrew Bibles and Interlinear

Yes, I am that HiSB/AlbeSh and your word is appreciated. It has been extremely humbling to see that what began as a personal study tool become, with much help, a text widely used to make the Holy words accessible in a meaningful way to so many. I am presuming that the Notes you refer to are the acce...

Re: Hebrew Bibles and Interlinear

Sorry for not expressing myself clearly. The attachment is several years old and is interlinear with strongs only. I didn't think the gloss was consistently good enough to put forward officially. The current goal is for an update to Shoroshim with morphology added. Unless some good interlinear text ...

Re: Hebrew Bibles and Interlinear

Hi Darryl - I've been working on a bible with strongs number and morphology based on the morphb project which seems to be moving towards completion. http://hb.openscriptures.org/status_all.html . There are some technical quesions that need to be addressed to Costas/Jon about compatibility of the enh...

Re: Table of Names Persons and Places - KJV English vs Bibli

Some time ago, I compiled a list of proper names in the Hebrew Bible. Two versions are in the attached ZIP file. The transliteration fields seem to be different. If the English names are not KJV, let me know, and there should be an earlier version that has it.

I think I am looking at the same problem. Simply: This works: <a href="file:///C:/Program Files (x86)/The Word/Misc/v/01Sv_Bereshit_001_001.mp3"><u>p_verse</u></a> 2015-01-06%2008_23_45.png And this doesn't: <a href="01Sv_Bereshit_001_001.mp3"><u>r_verse</u></a> My setup is a com...

Re: Displaying English Glosses

With regard to HiSB, toggling "i" will display the interlinear text inline. Hovering the mouse over the "HiSB" tab in the bible bar will list this and other toggles.

Re: HiSB Interlinear English Font

Yes. The interlinear and transliteration text are at a pre-set size. To chose your size: Make sure that bible view icons are displayed (CTL-T) on the left of the screen Set the English font size you would like with the +\- icons Right-click on HiSB in the bibles bar at the top of the screen Select '...

That site is quite a collection of resources. I noticed that there is also the Gesenius dictionary.
