generic book style topics in personal commentary module

Post by kenfhill84083 »

In a commentary module I created, on some verses I would like to have information that would be best organized in topics, like you can make in generic books.

For example:
  • xrefs
    definitions
    ...
Otherwise, all that would be together in the "document", making for lots of scrolling.

Sorry there is no way to do this.
However you can make bookmarks on,
xrefs
definitions
and use Hyperlinks to jump to that point in the text, and a link back to the starting Hyperlink, this would save some scrolling.

That concept does work beautifully, and is very easy to implement. I have used it a lot in the past.

Would it be possible to add functionality that lets you automatically generate a table of contents based on the bookmarks? That would be similar to Google Docs creating a TOC based on heading 1 styles.
