Jantzen NT und Schlachter 2000 verfügbar

Post by offenbarung3-16 »

Hallo,

[part of message deleted]

Johannes is correct.
Unless there is a specific permit for distribution of a text/translation with the 'The Word' program, it is not allowed to do so, even if the text can be found for free elsewhere.

@offenbarung3-16
Please, refrain from such language in this forum. I am sorry i had to remove part of your post. Also do not bring doctrinal discussions in this forum. If you don't agree with the content of a module you are free to NOT use it. You are not free to share your doctrinal position in this forum. There are hundreds of other places/forums to do so.

Thank you for respecting this,
Costas

I think you are talking about copyright issues in greec, but not about copyright/permissions and laws what concern germany. But its interesting how some people think they are advocates and how they mean to understand how copyright will work.

Second, its in your responsibility, if you will be a follower of Jesus Christ (?), to protect the pure doctrine of the bible and not distribute over your forum false teachers.

edit: decided to add a short summary in English so that a non-German reader can follow this thread a bit more easily:

Afaik, the copyright for the "Schlachter 2000" belongs to the Société Biblique de Genève which does not allow any redistribution without special permission. Thus, redistribution is forbidden according to "copyright/permissions and laws what [sic] concern germany". Therefore I second Johannes' request to remove the download-link in the first post, unless the author is authorized by the Société Biblique de Genève to redistribute the Schlachter 2000.

No, i am talking about copyright laws that i believe apply everywhere. If i am mistaken, you are welcome to point me to the relevant documents that will prove this. I am not sure how you fail to see that it would be good if what you say actually stands and i would like it to be like that. But it's not!
I do have to protect this site and software from anything that may be illegal until i am sure. The rule concerning the copyright of modules is "guilty until proved innocent".
But its interesting how some people think they are advocates and how they mean to understand how copyright will work.
Hm, i am not sure who you are referring to, but noone here said he is a lawyer. But once more the tone of this post is not nice for this forum: If you honestly cannot realize this, pls ask someone you trust to read through and give you his opinion.
If there is an error here you can say it and everyone will be happy to correct. Just not make a doctrinal statement.
Second, its in your responsibility, if you will be a follower of Jesus Christ (?), to protect the pure doctrine of the bible and not distribute over your forum false teachers.

Re: Jantzen NT und Schlachter 2000 verfügbar

Post by Yusuke »

Hallo theWord-Gemeinschaft!

Schlachter 2000 zum Download for mybible).

Yusuke

Hello Yusuke,
the Schlachter 2000 Bible is not free for theWord as the publisher has not granted such a distribution permission for theWord.
It is possible that the same publisher has granted a different permission for another software.
