Spelling checker (dictionary)
Is there a way in which I can get theWord to use my own dictionary to check spelling? And is there a way I can create such a dictionary from a text file?
Re: Spelling checker (dictionary)
You can download from within theWord a spelling dictionary I made. It is just very basic as I don't know how to do more that basic.
It is called "theWord KJV spelling dictionary"
It will put the files in the Spelling folder. Copy those and change the file names. Leave the content of the .aff file as is.
Clear the content of the .dic file and add it one word per line with a Tab and Linefeed (usually shift enter to get that, but depends what program you use)
Best way is to test it out... make up some fake words and put those in your dictionary and then see if they are accepted as good when you use that spelling dictionary in theWord bookview.
