Reference detection with different versification

I am preparing a rather large module which refers to a Bible module that has versification different to the KJV. The auto detect of references obviously often picks up the wrong verse. In my case there are 1206 verses that have a different number to the KJV.

Is there any way in which I can automate changing these verse references without having to check every single reference in this large file (19Mb)?

I have a list of all the verse differences in Excel which I can easily export into another format.
