Right now we cannot see long references when they are written like this John 4:2; 1 Cor 3:2. It does not recognize semicolon which is a common way of writing the verse list, it jumps to John's first chapter, not first Corinthians. It does recognize when there's a comma instead of semicolon.
Also, it will be great improvement if you also add recognition for ref like First John 5:8, and further possible wordings.

Noted this for investigation. It works ok in the totheWord utility but that might have some additional code different to theWord that needs looking into. The verse detection/CM code is quite complex

Also add this in the recognition of the ref:
It is unable to recognize this.:
(John1:51,3:3,3:5,3:11,5:19,5:24,5:25,6:26,6:32,6:47,6:53,8:34,8:51,8:58,10:1,10:7,12:24,13:16,13:20,13:21,13:38,14:12,16:20,16;23,21:18)

Re: Enhance Clipboard Monitoring Verse Reference
The format would need to be like this
(John1:51;3:3;3:5;3:11;5:19;5:24;5:25;6:26;6:32;6:47;6:53;8:34;8:51;8:58;10:1;10:7;12:24;13:16;13:20;13:21;13:38;14:12;16:20;16;23;21:18)
Either the : is a chapter:verse separator or in some language format the , is chapter, verse
(John1:51;3:3;3:5;3:11;5:19;5:24;5:25;6:26;6:32;6:47;6:53;8:34;8:51;8:58;10:1;10:7;12:24;13:16;13:20;13:21;13:38;14:12;16:20;16;23;21:18)

Also the copy verse references from the List
In the Copy only verse ref from the list, we don't get any comma between the references. But many sites like biblegateway will require comma to show them in their site. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?s ... ersion=KJV
Re: Enhance Clipboard Monitoring Verse Reference
Select the option from the copy verses menu, to open in the copy verses dialog Ctrl key.....
Set the predefined format to 15 with ; at the end of each verse. Then in the advanced tab set 'copy only verse refs' Then save as a custom set.

Re: Enhance Clipboard Monitoring Verse Reference
The two letter abbreviation for Hebrews is Hb not He. It recognises He, Mk, Jh, Lu , but in some bibles references on internet or elsewhere the Hebrews abbrv is Hb which it doesnt catches.
Ex.
> As children of God we have confidence in prayer because of our intimate relationship with him (1 Jn 5:14–15). In love, we pray (1 Jn 5:16–17) for those who are in sin, but not in deadly sin (literally, “sin unto death”), probably referring to apostasy or activities brought on under the antichrist; cf. Mk 3:29; Hb 6:4–6; 10:26–31.

Unfortunately one has to lean more toward the standards.
