Floating windows in Linux
Floating windows in Linux
I am running Linux Mint 19.1 with wine 4.1, and am having trouble getting floating windows to play nicely on dual monitors. I want TW to run on one monitor with floating windows on the 2nd monitor and appears I am doing something wrong. I create, for example, a floating Bible search window, then try to move that window to my 2nd monitor. The floating window will not move. I have to move the main TW window to the other monitor, then when I close TW it does remember that setup when I restart it. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

Left click on the top left of that window to bring up the menu...
Verify your setting that you don't have the window restricted.

Re: Floating windows in Linux
Hi Jon,
I did not have the restrict floating windows checked, but I also did not have the "always floating" box checked. I checked that box and I can now float the window onto the 2nd monitor (at least I assume that's how it should work . Thanks for the heads-up!
