Greetings all,
I've only recently installed .1450 TW (in Compact mode) and haven't done any modifications. Is it okay, then, to put the beta files into the TW installation folder I made for it and run it there without worrying about messing up the existing version?
Thanks.
Putting the beta files into an existing .1450 build
Re: Putting the beta files into an existing .1450 build
It will be ok.
Just copy/unzip the 3 files(you don't need the changelog.txt really) to the same place as theword.exe
If you want to try to setup the spellcheck then look at this post http://forum.theword.net/viewtopic.php?p=38328#p38328
What I normally do for testing is a compact usb install to a folder on the desktop. http://forum.theword.net/viewtopic.php?p=17013#p17013

Great, thanks! I had already installed the spellchecker files as well. All seems well.
Thanks again.
