I have been going around in circles looking for a program that displays the bible in a simple format and my latest acquisition was the Tecarta bible.
I thought that I had finally found my solution.
Simple, to the point and fast.
However, after having googled the words "best Bible software" in a google search a couple of days ago, the link for "theWord" came up.
And in my humble opinion, it is by far the Best bible software period. Not only is it simple, fast, direct and to the point, it has everything and anything in resources to add.
Plus, everything is in sync, perfect harmony!
It allows one to study the bible as one should with all the resources you need.
No other software program has given me the urge to study the bible on a daily basis as this one has and that simply means that this software and the people behind it are anointed. Simple is that.
I mean I would download PDFs, txt files, word formats of Bibles, documentaries, books and still with all of that, I could not find a way to organize everything in a way where I could study the bible on a daily basis on meaningful terms.
As I stated in my previous comment, I have used all bible software programs for over 40 years now including various versions of the Logos software and none can come close to "theWord."
Quite simply, this software has been blessed by God because it has awaken the desire in me to study God's word on a daily basis and keep 'awake' and not fall 'asleep' in these last days.
Thank you, thank you, thank you - to theWord staff and all the people behind a masterpiece indeed.
May God bless all of you and continue this great ministry for all those who know the difference between eternal life and eternal death. |

You can either get the DVD, the flash drive (theWord on the go) or make your own backup copies and freely distribute them to people who actually need this software, those that don't know
about it yet.
I have used every bible software program out there for years, including the famous Logos which I believe is just to overwhelming for anyone to use... and theWord is by far the best of the best.
It is just great software, ingeniously designed, powerful and fast.
I am a programmer myself however, I don't know what was used in the making of this software but it truly shows in its smooth performance and it caters to the bible student and those using it.
It has room to even get better I am sure but I am so happy with the latest version.
My hats off to theWord staff on what I feel is a beautiful creation of one of the most important tools one can have to study the bible in these last days.

Being portable is amazing feature of this Bible software. I hate ending needed to setup everything because you need to reinstall something. There is no need here - and I even have it running Linux.
It has some powerful tools for sure like the HiSB and the ABP to look into the Hebrew and Greek.
Well at least it has been my primary software to go on my computer for many months.
Also you can search multiple Bibles which could not be done in E-sword, at least I never found out how to. And being Portable I don't need to set it up again like I needed with E-Sword.
So great for people that don't want to put 100's of dollars into some of the bigger Bible programs out there. You can already do a lot with this for sure.
Now of cause there is always place for improvement - like I would like a concordance on the latin version of Jerome and a full Aramaic Peshitta with concordance as well... But... You still get a lot to toy around for free for sure.
Great Program - I think it would be my second my used application on the computer, the browser being the first. |
